Who can enter and what to create
The Little Art's 19th ArtBeat is a national child-art competition for ages 4–18. Its themes are Jungle Adventure, My Underwater Friends, and My Four Favourite Colours; themes may be combined.
Start with a conversation rather than a finished picture to copy. Ask the child what they would like to show and why. A small sketch and a few colour experiments can help them choose a composition they understand and enjoy.
Plan the entry carefully
The organizer requires original physical artwork; digital entries are not accepted. Read its size, labeling and delivery rules before starting. Entry fees apply, so check the official fee for the chosen submission route.
Plan backwards from the deadline: leave time to make the artwork, finish it, prepare the paperwork and arrange delivery. If entering with the school, ask the office about the local hand-in arrangements first. Do not assume the school collection date is the same as the organizer's final deadline.

Parents can help with planning and practical arrangements while letting the child make the creative choices. Encourage careful effort and enjoyment of the process. Recognition is a possible outcome; making something the child can explain is worthwhile in itself.
